What should I do today if my pool guy went silent?
Call the Las Vegas Valley Water District at 702-267-5900 for pool and spa guidance on Henderson properties. Test the water and note the condition, since evaporation in Southern Nevada can lose dozens of gallons a day in the hottest months. Then request a referral to a local pro so the pool does not sit untreated.
What should I check before hiring someone to take over?
Nevada pool service and repair work is governed by the Nevada State Contractors Board. Verify any license through the Nevada State Contractors Board, and review its pool and spa regulations. Ask the pro for proof of licence and insurance before work starts.
What should I put in the quote?
Ask for a written quote that lists the one-time cleanup and the ongoing service rate. Hourly pool cleaning rates nationwide average $60–$90 per hour, so compare that against the flat price. Confirm the start date in writing.
Why does a Henderson pool need routine care?
Las Vegas-area pool providers note that intense sun, heat, and dry conditions year-round increase the need for routine pool care. A pool cover reduces evaporation by 90% in Southern Nevada. Keep the recommended 78°F ideal temperature in mind when setting up a service schedule.
